Function :
This structure is the carcass for the main distribution frame installed in telephone exchanges.
It holds the connection modules enabling the distribution of lines for voice and data communications for all types of services (POTS, ISDN, xDSL, E1/T1,…).
Description :
This frame is based around a completely modular structure, completed by means of kits, thereby enabling the frame to be adapted for the location and the application.
Thus, by linking base structures consisting of 2, 3, 4 or 6 racks, it is possible to built frames of varying sizes.
The capacity in terms of lines depends on the number of racks holding the connection modules and the height of the racks (3 levels).
The base structures consist of :
- Part-assembled vertical shelves, forming modules of 2, 3, 4 or 6 racks.
These racks are either single sided or double sided. The gap between the racks is 174, 200 or 250 mm.
- All the component elements of the frame: base, strengtheners, upper and lower lateral protective elements, crosspieces, etc.
- All the associated accessories: sachets of screws, guide rings and pins, descriptive notices and installation instructions.
There is a set of kits enabling the adapting or customising of the base structures:
- Horizontal earthing kit,
- Lateral earthing kit,
- Earth connection kit,
- Lateral link kit between 2 structures,
- Horizontal labelling kit,
- Vertical labelling kit,
- Ceiling fixing kit,
- Wall fixing kit.
