  • Description

    Application :

     

    36 connector optical cable head TDCOF 36 is used on frames of optical main distribution frames for the termination of line or equipment cables.

     

    There are two cable head versions :

    • TDCOF 36 allows the connection of 36 fibres directly on the connectors. The head can receive up to 6 secondary fanout devices (DES).
    • TDCOF 36 E has an organiser of 3 cassettes used to connect 36 fibres either directly on the connectors or through splices placed in the cassettes (use of pigtails).
      Excess lengths of fibre are fanned out and stored in the cassettes.

      Description :

       

      TDCOF 36 consists of :

    • A paint metal chassis having fasteners for 6 secondary fanout devices and an organizer holder plate,
    • A drum used for individual routing and fixing of the jumpers while ensuring a guaranteed bend radius,
    • Two swivelling support arms on which the various components are mounted : These are used to fix the cable head on the frame. The head can be swivelled 90° for easy access to the internal connections,
    • A front panel for 36 VFO/EC connectors with 8 sealing plugs (depending on version),
    • A painted metal protection cover which fits over the chassis,
    • A swivelling plate which carries an organizer comprising 3 cassettes with a capacity of 12 splices each in version TDCOF 36 E.

       

      TDCOF 36 is mounted on the frames of optical main distribution frames approved by France Télécom.

       

      Remarques

      The accessories (front panel, splicing supports, secondary fanout devices) must be ordered separately. Other front panel models can be developed upon request. The range of optical termination products offered by Nexans Telecom Components also includes various cable head models with different capacities and functions (10/12-fibre cable head, coupler cabinets.).
